Ramo is going to have bad games until he adjusts to the smaller rink surface. Goalies have the hardest time to adjust, there is a lot more traffic and the reaction time is less. After 30 or 40 games you can make a judgement on how well he is doing. Mac is nothing more then a waiver fodder backup. Ramo has potential to be a solid starter, Berra as well.

Ramo is supposed to be playing tonight. The last 2 games hes played have been great.

All goals were either tips or players left wide open in front of the net. I thought he played a great game with the defense leaving him out to dry.

Really getting irritated with this. Mac has done nothing to show he deserves starts over Ramo at this point. Its obvious that Hartley/coaching staff is going with their favorite.

Not really. Berra was sent down to the AHL to maximize his playing time. Even if he split NHL games 50/50 he still wouldnt play more then being in the AHL. If they actually allow Ramo to start playing some games Im still betting that him and Berra will be the Flames goalies that finish this year.

He did, he lost to the Nucks. If were playing that game he should have got the start for the Jackets win, which he did, and then lost the start to the Habs game due to the loss to the Nucks. Hartley is favoring Mac early on and I dont like it personally.

It will be Mac on Friday. Which is stupid but he was the reason the Flames won tonight.

Its pretty stupid in my opinion they arent playing Ramo. He needs to play to get better, Mac is as good as hes ever going to be.

Pretty much, with most people having never actually seen these kids play and are quickly willing to label them a bust when they dont produce. Im not worried about the Flames goaltending this season. It cant be worse then last year. Personally I think Berra takes over from Mac at some point this season. I think Berra is going to surprise people and play in 20 or so games at minimum.

Thats everything now though. Be it twitter or automatic texts or youtube videos, its all too easy to look at players and prospects. The end result is that players are either hyped up because the person likes them based on the internet, or critized because the person wanted someone else based on the internet.

At this point I would be surprised if we dont see Berra, Ramo and Mac in the NHL to start. I think eventually Mac will be traded to another team. His signing was always for insurance moreso then anything else. Edmonton and Vancouver come immediately to mind as teams needing a quality backup.

Ramo will be paid more then 2mil. Id be surprised if its just 3mil. The guy is making good coin in the KHL and Feaster will have to pay him to get him over here.

Not long enough term or enough cash. Hes making good coin in Russa. Im guessing 4 years at 4mil per.

Im curious as to the amount moreso then term. Will be interesting to see what it cost to bring him over here.
