    Our PP has been pretty exciting to watch lately - I must say. Just was pointing out maybe we can steal that McDavid PP move as well. Govi just stepped right into that one timer and got everything on a wobbling puck.

    Drai is a good player. I’m not sure how he holds on to the puck so well with those twigs for legs and calves, but, he benefits so much from playing with McJesus… I’d really like to see what he’s made of playing without him. My bet is the McDavid bump is significant. I don’t think he can carry his own line.

    Right-o TD. Edmonton has a pretty good PP. we should take some notes. McJesus does this loop thing all the time to go almost out of zone and drive toward the net taking a pass with speed. It forces defenders to move and pulls them out of position to open up passing lanes for one timers. Like DressIdol and Bouch-burger.

    Marky needs to focus on the game. He gave one to Hyman, Hyman gave him one back, move on. Liking the flames play. Looks like the Oil aren’t used to the speed the flames are playing with. Oil like to put their opponents on their heels… the Oil D can’t defend speed themselves. That was a fun period!

    Woot woot! 😁👍 Also, Seravalli is the one who “reported” Hanifin only wants to sign in Tampa. I don’t subscribe to his “reporting” as a source. However, yes, other more credible sources like Friedman have indicated they believe Hanifin would prefer to play in the US. Last I checked, there were only 7 Canadian NHL teams, and a bidding war only requires 2 teams to have interest. I like those odds. We’ll see how it plays out.

    Yep. I was one of them, admittedly. But he changed my initial, incorrect opinion very quickly. He’s one of the good ones for sure, and I sincerely hope he gets a chance to win a cup. I’m routing for him.

    Im thinking more along the lines that this “package” had the better combination of assets compared to other offers. Also, seeing the value Tanev brings to our D corps, and knowing Hanifin is also on the way out, acquiring a Dman with that skill set could prove valuable.
