  1. The grease team are not built for playoffs, they are a team that can produce regulation wins feeding from powerplay goals and O.T. goals with one line only. Come playoffs they will struggle, Mclotto and line will get burned out.
  2. I like this idea also to move Mangy, regardless of its current worth. He has gotten to stale for this Flames team.
  3. Looks like the greasers added a couple new forwards https://www.nhl.com/news/topic/trade-coverage/adam-henrique-sam-carrick-traded-to-edmonton-by-anaheim When will they ever learn adding a couple more forwards albeit 4th line players is not there problem. They will barely see ice time with the Mclotto ball and Draisaddle playing most of every game.
  4. What are we waiting for, rip the bandage off already, getting tiring reading, listening to all the media hype of Calgary doing this, doing that.... lets get er done, im sure Connie is working the phones but wow this is like a circus for the media already.
  5. Yes, rip the bandage off already and start the new vision.
  6. Hubey does need to shoot more, Kracken will be tired in third we need to take advantage and move our skates harder, come back time, heard it here first!
  7. Weak period, hope they put their skates on going into the second period.
  8. Shows were all human, great to see everyone has good and not so good habits at times. Timing is key providing habits don't turn into addictions. E.g. I only smoke cigars when golfing with a certain group and/or camping depending on the crowd.
  9. Although mentioned in DD's first post (awesome G.D.T.) but just so you don't miss this event note the time. "The Scotiabank Saddledome will open its doors to fans at 5:30 PM with the ceremony beginning on the ice at 6:20 PM. At the conclusion of the ceremony the Calgary Flames and Pittsburgh Penguins will conduct their standard player warmup, with game time set for 8:00 PM. The ceremony will feature special appearances by Calgary Flames Alumni, Hockey Hall of Fame trophies from Miikka’s career, a video tribute, and a thank you from Miikka Kiprusoff. The ceremony will conclude with his number 34 heading to the rafters to join Lanny McDonald, Jarome Iginla and Mike Vernon as retired numbers for the Calgary Flames, along with honoured members and hockey hall of famers Joe Nieuwendyk and Al MacInnis."
  10. AWESOME G.D.T. Remember this cute kid, he was a story... The 5 o-clock shadow he wore was awesome too.
  11. Blah Blah does anyone care! , the big Z gone, Lindy gone, Tanev gone, and more to come. Still here are the results after February, most predicted playoff spot, its still tight to make it but right now were all wondering where this team is heading. Regardless die hard and will always cheer for the "C" of red flames home team. Cross16 still has the lead by a horse head. cross16 still in the overall lead with 30 points. Edited Feb. 2nd, Missed a point for (ThePeople1, Cross16, medatswhoP, redfire11, and Ryan Man,) for goals on Kadri (tied with Sharky) added the point and will reflect after next month, thanks.
