    I'm not sure we have any players that excel under Sutter. Did they have good years last year? Yes, but the goalies gave them a better chance to extend thoer points. Now we are just gripping the sticks.

    It backfired on our goalie that couldn't pitch a shutout in a period. I don't know how much of a difference Guddy made last year, but he was a good 3rd pairing guy. Stone is a role player and can't make up for Zaddy's bad plays. Missing Kyl's skating. We get burned on 2 on 1''s. Say what you want but Kyl was never left behind.

    Well on the way to another 30+ shot loss. The coach doesn't fit the team and the team doesn't fit the systems. Whatever they are.

    Is the coach trying to get fired or prove he is not worried about anything he does? The players haven't given up, but seem to be understanding that getting away from the systems is the only chance they have. I don't know anymore. Can't score it seems. Can't hold a lead. Can't steal a game. Can't beat a lotto team.

    At 17th? Maybe next season. Like the McD draft year, we are just too good. So a really good player will be available in the year we don't have a first.

    Volume of shots is the big thing we hear. Funnel it to the net. The D take shots at nothing, and we don't have the pieces in the places where that's a smart move. We have chances in close, but can't get a stick on it, fly by's, moving out of position, shoot instead of hold it a fraction of a second.
