Yeah EST road trips are great as I get midnight games here. Sometimes the Flames seem to be out east when the clocks change and that can mean 11pm games for me as we move the clocks a couple weeks earler than USA/Canada. Did not happen this year. Go Flames Go. Will put the lines up soon.

I disagree with this. Overall I think BT/DS did a great job this summer in the players they got in. Vladar v BSD - much the same but Vladar looks more composed than BSD. Coleman / Pitlick much better thean Leivo / Nordstrom / Ryan / Bennett Gio should have been a loss but Kylington stepping up has allowed Andersson to thrive on the top line. Guddy has been a nice suprise and a ton better than we ever saw in Nesterov. Allowing us to keep Stone back and hungray for when he needs to step in for injuries. Zadorov - not so sure about at the moment want to see more from him. Bennet/Ryan are the only 2 I liked enough to keep. But Lewis has been solid on the 4th line without taking dumb penalties and Richardson early days so can't really comment. Coaching wise has also helped having his systems in early and sneding them away with specific summer conditioning plans. DS has also been brave putting Mony on the 4th yet still giving him PP time. The team looks like it is enjoying playing again. Smiles all around.

Last night aside (and he was a difference maker big time) my problem with Tkachuk is that he appears so disinterested for long periods of a game(s). He has started to take petulent penatlies in recent games and the one he took early tonight was another stupid penalty to take and could have shifted momentum towards the Rags. He has also been largely invisible in the playoffs. If we get the Tkachuk we saw against the Rangers on a regular consistient basis then it would be great to keep him but as bosn111 has pointed out I am not sure the numbers work and we know the Tkachuks will not take a discount to help towards a championship. The showboating skills when they come off looked fantastic but I for one would cash in on Tkachuk now and send him to the East.
