He's never been anything but C his entire life. Not even wing.

He plays the hardest position. Hopefully Lindholm can help him. Lindy's one of the best. It's up to the wings to forecheck, not the C, but there is a line in how you support the puck. If you're a C caught to deep and there's a turnover, it's 3-on-2 going the other way. When the Sting were heavily favoured against the Spits, they barely squeaked out a 7 gamer. They were favoured vs the Rangers and had their butts handed to them. One consistency was Ruzicka played like a dman. He just couldn't get into the o-zone, like he was frozen in fear of his D responsibilities. Now I'd say that's coaching. But also, Lindy is one of the best at finding the balance. Hopefully Rozie gets a lot of support and advice from him. Gotta stay fluid at both ends. It could be mental, worrying about the opponents threat on the ice, rather than being confident that you are the threat. He's a hard one to figure out. He has a great coach now, so it's up to him. But he's infinitely a better option than Gawdin.

The joy is that you don't have to. It would appear Mony's game is coming around. Sometimes you just need faith and patience in the coaching staff.

I’ve always championed him, but he needs constant reminding that he can be a millionaire. His Sting performance in his last performance here was pathetic. But so was Kyrou’s. Ruzicka should be a good 3C at worst. Amazing to think he has to be reminded.

They weren’t going high on him. It was virtually non-existent. I could see net, why couldn’t they? This team’s mentality is still a struggle for me. Do they not study a goalie’s weak spots? Every goalie is great when you play to there strengths. Lucic had a perfect chance, elevate the dang thing. He’s big and always down, lift the puck. He doesn’t give much low. We make any goalie look great. Figure it out, it’s painful.

No. The Flames did. They like Blockchaining everything up. Oilers sucking. Flames suck. It's just dumb. Isn't the goalie coach's job also scouting the goalie that you're about to face? Sure didn't look like it.

He's not a horrible goalie. I think his mechanics are off. He's great low. But he needs to bring his glove up in his stance. It always looks low to me. He'd be faster with his glove cheating high. Faster to drop it than raise it. He's a good goalie, but he's being scapegoated. He needs better coaching probably. Shoot high glove.
