I know it's early in the season, but the B2B against TOR impacted us more than OTT being really good.  They play the same every time we face them.

Sucks to make. But a decent outcome for the Flames.

 

Wolf played well. But not to a level where you feel guilty about sending him down.

Really?  He made several that could have been easy goals.

First 2 that got by him were nowhere near his fault.

The Batted in Batherson goal was stupid.  How you stop that?

The possession loss by Zaddy that set up the final goal was just aweful.

38 shots against.

We go 0 for 3 on the PP.

They have 4 PP, plus a 5-3 one.

One PP goal let in.

None of our top faceoff guys was close to 50%.

 

I think right now we could trade 1 goalie, 2 defensemen, and 3 forwards and not notice much difference.  The D barely create offense let alone play D that well.

I think he played well. I think your misunderstanding me.

 

He can play at this level,  but it’s not like he went 38/40 in a 2-1 loss. 
 

He did a good job but when he gets sent down at the end of the trip it’s not gonna start a media circus.

Vladar had 34 shots aagainst including OT and let in 4.

In his most reacent 3 other games, he let in 3, 6, 3.

Markstrom's last 4 starts were 2, 4, 4, 2 with the highest shots being 34.

 

He's on an emergency callup, so yes he has to be sent back down, no media circus.

But that's the nature of the recall.

One game doesn't make anyone expendible like Pospisil did with Hunt.

He did that over successive games.

Once the emergency loan conditions are done, he gets sent back.

Or like Pospsisil gets converted to a regular recall.

I doubt the latter as it's too hard to manage 3 goalies on a roster.

And we aren't gonna waive Vladar, since EDM would immediately (somehow) claim him.
