Great push in the latter half, even if it didn’t get results. Colorado’s goalie has made some great saves! We have not. The difference right there. Couple of things; Pretty bad first period but outside of that I thought the Flames really carried the play for the majority of the game. Only thing worse to me than the final score was the absolute piss-poor job done by the officials tonight. I counted no less than 3 blatant missed calls, one of which should have been a 4-minute high-stick in which the ref was standing directly in front of the play in question and somehow missed it still. Difference between the two is AVS goalie was screen, while Marky was not. The other two were far side tap ins. One was a two on one. I seem to be harping on Lucic. He had 15 minutes at 5v5 and 0 shots. Ruzie and Duehr had 9 and 8 minutes and 2 shots each. When Sutter mixed up the lines, Lucic still played shifts on the 4th line. And somehow still had more 5v5 times than Huberdeau, Linholm and Toffoli. In fact he had the most time 5v5 of all the forwards except Kadti.
