The_People1
Crazy. Mostly because we've seen worse hits get 2-game suspensions. Yes, i get the whole repeat offender thing. The hit was bad, don't get me wrong. He charged from 5 strides away and lead with his shoulder high to the head/shoulder area. That said, Silfverberg changed angles at the very last moment (lowered his shoulder) and thus, Torres caught him in the head/visor area. It was half bad luck i feel. Cowtownguy
Torres was suspended 5 times, but he was also fined another 4 times for hits to the head as far back as 2006. If he doesn't get it after this suspension, I am not sure what it will take to sink in.
cross16
I wish they could just ban him from the league. Guys like Raffi Torres have no place in the game as far as i'm concerned. He has no respect for the players around him and I don't beleive for 1 second he will ever change.
robrob1974
I agree. It's players like Torres and Cooke that have no place in hockey. I don't think you have to respect other players as much as you have to respect the game and what it stands for. I guess that's what it means. But it's players like these that give hockey a bad name.
