Absolutely the right decision. Sutter after the Blues game said the Flames have two super-stars. Kipper and Iggy, I would agree that they have two super-stars but it is Iggy and Gio. Gio is a friggin beast and one of the few Flames along with Glencross to come roaring out of the gate. If he keeps this up he may be on the all-star team this year. I have seen Gio as Captain material for awhile now, certainly all the disposition and character traits and now the skill and consistent performance level is elevating up to that Captain level.
