Baalzamon Posted October 2, 2011 Report Share Posted October 2, 2011 just to clarify, Giordano never played in the KHL. He played in it's predecessor, the Russian Super League. Playing against better players is never a bad thing. The KHL is arguably the second best league in the world, so playing against players of that caliber can't be an entirely bad thing for a developing player. And when one is that far from home, one has to grow up a lot #maturity. that said, the Flames shouldn't make a habit of doing this.
