    Cleared on the investigation about crossing the boarder. No suspension. Wonder how many games it takes before an Oiler shows up at practice with a black eye and Kane is healthy scratched. JK, there was no real proof that Draisaitl got beat up by Nurse.

    I missed the NMC. They can't even demote him to save cap. They are stuck with him counting in the 23 roster spots.

    Congrats to Oilers for "winning" the Kane sweeps. $2.1m cap hit. Some is salary, some is signing bonus. I don't know if he is cleared of any suspension or not. It wouldn't make sense otherwise. He should be good in nets, defense and play top 6 plus bottom 6.

    I am glad that the NHL is not going to the Olympics. For one thing the time change is too hard to get North America lined up when it's also a good time for the players locally. For another, I didn't really want to cheer for a team that had McD as the captain. That may happen in 4 years, but I can do without it. I would have been cheering for Gaudreau and Tkachuk, if they were on the team.

    Going for three in a row. Husso has been lights out, but as long as we play the way we have, we will be okay.

    Starting goalies not yet posted. Husso more likely for STL, but their coach also needs Binnington to face hi demons. Markstrom is rolling, but you have a backup like Vladar for a reason.
