This team pisses me off some days. Dominate the Stars, let them back in it for a couple of shifts. Get a PP, useless 2nd unit. 3rd unit does more with 15 seconds. Dominate some more, let up for a moment at the end of a shift and boom. Geta nother PP and Backlund cruises in with the puck on his stick but 4 players facing him. Back out. Have 17 seconds left in the period and Kylington gets the puck in deep. Recovers it. Pass, skate, pass, delay, pass, pass, BONG end of period.

What kind of stupid play is that. Less than 10 seconds and you are passing it around like there is a ton of time

An interesting perspective on a player like Lundell: Lundell has had success as a rookie bc the Panthers weren't afraid to put him into a situation where he could make mistakes. They had faith and trust in their quality of their vets. They felt it would be better than filling out the roster with borderline NHLers instead.

If you go with the same timeline with Kerins as Trochek, he would play his Draft +2 year in the O. Kerins turn 20 in his Draft +1 season. Make no mistake, playing Draft +2 would not be wrong, but is there enough to be gained from it? Or is it better to get him into AHL development?
