Watched the replay of Backlund 2nd breakaway. It was a really poor shot. Goalie in the butterfly and he puts it 3 inches off the ice.

Don't forget Eric. McD and Drai played almost 4 minutes tigether on the PP. So, really they have gone there for almost the entire game.

Funny how they are advertizing lawn mowers tonight. A bit early perhaps?

Well, hard to say how that would shake out. I do think they need to sit Hanifin. Eric Francis is full of crap. Mangiapane isn't being demoted. They need to match Toffoli with a good player. And they need to intensify the pressure with Backlund's line. Get Mangiapane away from facing McD or Drai. For the time being, no Oilers have really done anything. Chances on the PP is about all.
