The rules allow a goalie to cover the puck outside the crease if it is part of blocking a shot then freezing the puck immediately. Otherwise, a goalie who comes outside of the crease to freeze the puck will be assessed a 2 minute penalty for delay of game.

It was the worng thing to do, since he couldn't freeze it without taking a penalty. He knows Monahan, so he should have just taken away the angle on a shot. Or sweep the puck. Whatever. He did what he did against VAN that knocked him out.

Zaddy had a clear path to the net and he passes to the side. Sure it's a one timer chance for Kadri, but clear paths don't happen often.

The equipment rules have little to do with height. Does a 240 pounder take up more room? Sure, but you were talking about height. If you are talking about your opinion, don;t call it a fact.

Some sights list Wolf as being 6 feet (Saros 5'11).. How does 1 or 2 inches make him less likely to be a star because of equipment? Sure, some goalies have a tendency to play low in the net exposing the top corners. Unless you are 6'8" and 260, you have to rely om reflex. Even then, the big guys don't always have the edge.
