Marky is back to being a sieve. Maybe one or two were unstoppable. the other three were very stoppable. You need at the very least the 4th goal stopped. Mackey was under pressure, so I can't blame him entirely.

He's done his part. Maybe time to fire the assistant coach Muller. I don't know if another trade would help. Just another guy that doesn't fit. Perhaps it's time to toss the existing gameplan. This close game style doesn;t work except maybe in the playoffs.

Game notes: STL on a B2B after going to OT and shootout. Backup has a 3.69 GAA and 899 SA%. Blues have worst PK in the league. We manage to score only from one guy, the guy that has played the least games this season.

Interesting player choices. We are down by 1 going into the 3rd. 4th line and Ruzicka get stapled to the bench. One shift. Lucic plays with Backlund and we get 3 goals scored on us.

Whatever they are doing on the PP needs to change. The worst part of their game right now. 5v5 we seem to be ok. PK needs to stick to basics and stop pulling support to go for the shorty chance. Two recent games had the same thing happen. Two guys in deep on the shortie chance and never get back to cover. No problem if you have the beans to get back. Or force the save and get the whistle.

If they are playing a box, then there is open players. The problem is we can't seem to take it away from the overloaded side. We fumble around with it and that allows the PK to pressure. If you move it up and down low, they don't have that chance.
