Just wanted to let people know that there has been a recent increase in posting by new "members". New topics are being added that seem to have to rather innocent titles, but contain underlined hyperlinks. The poster is always a brand new member. Please avoid these topics. I have tried to keep up in hiding them to prevent any additional activity on it. There may also be responses to posts with the same type of stuff in it. Worldwide there has been an increase of BOT activity. Let me or Peeps know if you notice one.

We let in a shot from the faceoff dot. And they let in one from about the same spot. Difference between the two is AVS goalie was screen, while Marky was not. The other two were far side tap ins. One was a two on one. I seem to be harping on Lucic. He had 15 minutes at 5v5 and 0 shots. Ruzie and Duehr had 9 and 8 minutes and 2 shots each. When Sutter mixed up the lines, Lucic still played shifts on the 4th line. And somehow still had more 5v5 times than Huberdeau, Linholm and Toffoli. In fact he had the most time 5v5 of all the forwards except Kadti. I saw nothing to warrant him playing any, let alone toping the team. Time for a rest big guy.

Myself, I would have called a timeout or pulled the goalie after the 2nd goal. Lean towards the timeout. The team was doing nothing.

Have to keep the puck out of the net on this PP. It's close to out of reach the way the Flames are playing, down by 3.

Only a couple good chances by the Flames this period. One was Ruzie, the other Lindholm I think.

We haven't seen that level of goaltending since the first half of last year. It's not that he's not making great saves. He's not doing that the whole game. Maybe one game this year he has. Or it just feels that way. I think the posted that goals for with Marky in in was < 3 and Vladar over 3. Goals against are an obvious stat and Marky is slightly worse.

Sure. We can all be more positive here. The team barely showed up in the first 10 minutes. The progress they made after the opening goal was undone by the penalty.

Glad that period is over

You can;t expect to save everything when the D bails on you, but you want one of those kept out.

Didn;t like the Rantanen goal. The Lehtonen goal was maybe iffy.
