I re-watched the goal that he fell apart on. How did MArkstrom let a weak shot like that in? The bouncy one off the crossbar I get. Hanifin will have the most value. Backlund is one of our better players but the re-signing ask will be too rich. Tanev is a luxury. We need a cheaper bottom pairing RD. Can't trade em all, though.

It's why so many people are talking about trading Backlund or Tanev or Hanifin. We have about $1.2M cap left next year to sign 5F and keep one of Stetcher or Kylington.

We can't afford everyone we have signed and we are short about 4 players to make a roster.

We have seen this story before. Need at least one more this period. The Stars are well coached and know what to exploit. So far they are confused that the 4th line is playing so much.
