Always fighting for the wild card is better than mathematically out but does being in the bottom five still get you in the first pick lotto? Flames could use that more than a first round ousting, that is for sure. I'm not complaining just trying to discuss. Good for Zary for even being in the same discussion with #1 Bedard.

That was oldtime wisdom. Use your opponents own momentum to take him down! FANTASTIC Badger was like a father to us all. What a beautiful person. Masterful coach. He brought the best out of all of his players.

We used a 5 watt Motorola bag phone until they discontinued the analog system. With an antenna on the roof we could get signal dang near anywhere. The lead acid battery made that phone bag a formidable bludgeon.

I just can't seem to bolster up that positive attitude this time. For me, bending a spoon with my mind seems more plausible than getting behind a team... again and again and again... I get more enjoyment from playing shinny or tennis or... There are things that are far more important than hockey. Wait, remain patient, be alert.

That's a good attitude to show, and maybe I'll get positivity after I live out my impatience that owes to blind faith and naivety for too many nhl years. Everyday is a good day for a game.
