    Went the entire season without watching a game in protest to the lockout until the playoffs started. After the Sharks just swept Van, I wish I went the entire year :(

      The long off-season, as a matter of fact, made hockey fans more hungry for the NHL. They should only play 4 months a season moving forward.

      They would be giving up too much money by shortening the seasons, and we all know that its not about whats best for the game but making the most of the almighty dollar

      I'm not sure it was the "long off-season" as much as it was the threat of having no season that made the fans hungry. I personally prefer the highs and lows of a long season. I think we witnessed some anomalies this season that didn't work themselves out in the shortened time span. *cough* Toronto *cough*
