It's called a chicken elbowing two-sided bet. I win in both instances but the preferred result is the Flames W. Against any other team in the 4th game of a pre-Xmas road trip, I would definitely pick the Flames. I have never ever really been on the bandwagon anyway as I am a hardcore fan thru & thru. I am sure you are of a similar ilk. Bandwagoners come & go, but a true fan is solid as a rock. I don't want McDavid anyway. He has soft hands. Otherwise he wouldn't have broken one. Part 1: I was ribbing you. Part 2: Other then DD & I being the 2 that probably post most in the bandwagon thread you're right. Part 3: I added the for you. I do want McDavid but doubt Edmonton would trade us that 1st OA so it would depend on what the Canes, Sabres or Yotes want for it should they win the lottery. With the way the talking heads are trending many non-believers think the Flames will drop all the way to a lottery team. If some GM believes likewise I'd be happy to trade our 1st rounder for a good young player for the now or a prospect with 1 or 2 years developement (preferably still in the CHL rather then a losing environment).
