RUS
Sergei Bobrovsky to CBJ for 45 and 117 this year and 4th rd. (PHX) next year. Who will be the first goalkeeper in the CBJ Bobrovsky or Mason?
Flyerfan52
Bob & Mason will both be in contention but (unless Mason rebounds big time) I expect Bob to be the starter. This was a good trade. Flyers got a decent return on a guy destined to be their backup due to the contract ahead of him. Bob is in a city where he's got a better then average chance to be a starter (something signing Bryz denied him in Philly). The BJs didn't have to overspend in any way to get their probable starter. All 3 parties involved win.
ifiwaschucknorris
Agreed. This was win-win. Although nothing I have seen from Bob says he could start 50-60 games reliably. Hopefully he takes this chance and runs with it.
