It's going to be dificult to get Kylington back in the way Stone is playing. How do you sit the guy, he just gets better every game. A little work needed on the defense side, but he has the offence.

Good start. Nice PK on the 4-3 setup. We get a very brief PP after the extra man penalty from the Oilers. Kadri with the Ras move. Keep the building out of it.

Hoping to see that the Soup is really just a thin chicken based broth. Never really managed to cement a job with the Leafs. Was good for about 2 months, but frequently fell apart. In their home opener, they looked very much as always, give up the D-zone to try to score. Holloway was rushed onto the lineup and doesn't look NHL ready. 3rd line looks like a bust. They can score on the PP, so best not to breathe on McD. We have a lot of muscle and grit on the team. That really gets under their skin. Nobody really capable of standing up for anyone. Send the little snotnosed d-bags to the room with a loss.

I think it's a move to mess with the Oilers. Starting their top guy against the guy they feasted on in the playoffs. The final BOA regular season and game 1 or playoffs had something like 12 goals against in two games. But the side effect is that the team needs to step up defense to win this and not defer to the goalie to get it done. Vladar is excellent on HD chances and breakaways. He doesn't go down early exposing the top half. And the Oiler have no real book on him. The plus is that it gives Marky almost a week between starts

Riychie had a 90 second shift against th top line. They couldn;t get possession long enough to get a change. That's the risk of a line of clunkers. They had good shifts and bad ones. Have to limit using them against a team that can do damage. Oilers play a 3 line game mostly. They often double shift the top 2 players together.

Mostly the same team we faced the end of last season. Difference being no Smith being out of his mind. Campbell is a big risk on a guy that has never played a full starter workload.

It's pretty obvious we have a hole on Backlund's line. Lewis hasn't bee middle 6 for some time now. Not a lot of choices, other than moving in Ruzicka on LW and Coleman to RW. Dube would fit like a glove but no top 6 RW then.

Looking forward to seeing Big Z put down McD and Draisaitl and Kane.

We re using 2 centers on PP1. A bit of a waste. I think they should break it up a bit. Move Lindholm down to 2nd unit. You still have a good C in Kadri. And 2 x RHS in Ras and Toffoli.

Hard to believe we are holding the AVS to 4 shots so far. Could be that they played last night. They don't look tired yet.

Always get good results when you trash a player. Backlund Sucks. Toffoli Sucks. Hehe

Need guys to play in fron of the net that can deflect it. Dube had 2 or 3 that deflected it away from the net or blocked the shot. Tkachuk was really good when he did that.
