I didn’t read through the thread before posting this so if it has been asked don’t be too hard on me... Here is my question, Where would the Flames be in the standings, in your opinion, if they had league average goaltending from their starter (Smith)???

Benny was unbelievable tonight!!! The refs let the boys play hockey and Benny really brought it. I hope this is the start of a breakthrough. He’s scored in each of the last 3 games!!!

Let’s just agree that this will be an awfully long season if we need 5+ goals each night to get a “W”. The poster that called Smith “Hot Garbage” was absolutely correct. When Rittich played like that last year the fans and media were all over him. This is supposed to be a 3-2 league...In order for this team to be successful the GAA needs to be below 3.00 It looks to me like Smitty has started this season just like he ended last season and that is not a positive sign for the Flames.
