  1. I believe in our system is a goalie that will be our number one for years. We just got spoiled by Kipper being such a amazing net minder. Unfortunately the team couldn't get him the wins to establish himself as top 3 in stats but anyone who got to watch kipper got to see a special net minder who would make saves he had no business making. *cheers to kipper*
  2. Agreed, Berra did fine and gave the Flames a chance to win the game till the team gave up on him. There were a number of robberies he performed last night and his stick also helped the d from scrambles out front. But because he is such a large body it's the D job to make sure they clear the garbage. So many times allowing minny to easily pick up rebounds without tying up the man. But I also agree Ramo deserves the next start now and to show what he has again and let Berra watch. But in no way was that loss Berras fault and I'm confident his next start will be a good game for him again.
  3. I will say this now, we will not see Ortio called up unless major injuries are had to our goaltenders and its a must need.
  4. I don't know where you get legitimately from. iMHO I thought he was better than Ramo. And in Feasters own words he was only slightly behind ramo but due to waivers to send down Joey Mac they didn't want to risk it ( turns out no risk ). Also Clint malarchuk wanted Berra to stay.
  5. It's the norm when you don't have a quality starter anymore. Lets use the last 4 years as an example so from 10-11 to 13-14 Oilers - khabby, dubnyk, labarbarra, gerber, danis, Bachman Senators - m. Brodeur, lehner, mcelhenney, lecalire, Anderson, Elliot, auld, bishop, Maple leafs - reimer, gs giggy, gustavsson, scrivens, bernier, rynnas, Winnipeg has pavalec so it's just been a juggle for a backup Montreal has price same idea And Vancouver has had Lu and schnider And that's just the Canadian teams. Factor in teams like Florida, Tampa bay, Columbus, Philly, islanders, who we all know has goaltending woes. It's just the norm till you can find someone who will fit into your system. Craig Anderson is a nice example of a goalie who wasn't bad but nobody saw him as great till he started stealing the show in Ottawa. And then you have the opposite effect and bryz was good in Anaheim, great in Phoenix and abysmal in Philly
  6. Goaltending is a crap shoot most times some flourish on one team and then flop on others. Goaltending couldn't be any worse really so why not give Berra a shot.
  7. Looking forward to the rebuild and getting some fresh talent in this *****

  8. GO FLAMES GO! a big win tonight can help in the standings everyone around us is playing tonight.. HUGE to gain some points

  9. win or lose tonight if the flames dont put forth a winning attitude for 60 mins you might as well cash the season in tonight.

  10. I think the leadership group in that locker room needs to have their own meeting with the team to show how committed they are to winning

  11. who ever gets interviewed first needs to apologize to all fans for that performance tonight. NO HEART! next game better be a 180 from this one

  12. Cammelleri is back everyone!
