Wow! Congrats to Jarome Iginla! whatta player and whatta guy. He deserves each of the milestones he set this season. The comment below is something that makes me sick as a flames fan when our star player gave us a victory yesterday. Also nice to see Langkow have a strong return. Good for him to have such a quick recovery.

Take away Iggys stats this year and leadership. You trade that?? Build around him... Trade the likes of Bouwmy, Regehr, Bourque, etc. Guys who havent proven the same consistency as Iginla. We need a few big moves or free agency signings/releases. Trading Iginla would not be productive because we simply dont have anything to fall back on. If Iginla is traded im not watching the next 3 years 13th 14th place hockey. It starts with strengthening our secondary scoring lines and bringing in ...

You don't trade Iggy for some unknown. You trade him for our next Franchise player. Someone you can build around for the next 15 years. Giroux, Parise, etc. A guy like that.

Im sorry flames but I dont believe anymore for this season. You proved me wrong before so do it again. But at this point I just cant believe in our run. Off season changes need to be made... but still GO FLAMES GO!!! still 8 gms left, but little room for error. nothing to lose now.

If we can't beat the 14th place team in the conference, who are 1-8-1 in their last 10, have lost 5 straight, and are on the second game of a back-to-back...we're done.

I find it hard not to be pessimistic. Another horrible effort from the Flames. As of right now this team doesnt deserve to play in mid april... at all. And Bouwmeester is playing like I used to if I had a loaf of bread before the game. Slow, and little puck control whatsoever. Not a very happy Flames fan right now.

Flames getting into the playoffs in 8th spot, and beating Vancouver in 7th game (iggy scores in OT) is my dream... Just so you guys know. =)

Go Flames Go! I have marked this Dallas game on my calender for a while now. Hugely important to our run. Dallas jus lost to Edm so lets keep their recent struggles in check tomorrow! Go Flames!

Trade Iginla??? really pal? cmon now... maybe if we were sitting at 20 points... We need to build around Iginla. He can still lead a team with points, but more importantly with attitude. Many other tradable players to get young talent, and those young players would strive by playing with iggy. Say if we are sitting 13 or 14 in the west at this time next year, then see whats avaliable for iggy. No point doing it now. We dont want to be young teams like edm and toronto. gotta build around talent. And Karlsson is just what Kipper needs to get his game back in shape. (ie competition.) Karlsson is awesome.. I love his intensity and passion for hockey. He is big, and WILL be a star tender. Kipper has had a rough year, but the last few games have been great. dont get me wrong i love kip and i love how he goes about hockey through focus. But having Karlsson around could make Kipper try even that bit harder to ensure he keeps his starting role. as for goaltending, not an issue in cgy, we just gotta get the puck in the net and keep it in the opposing end to give our defence a rest.

Great playing in the 3rd last night Flames! continue that effort for the rest of the season and make sure to play 60 mins each game... =s But good effort and lets get on a roll now. =)

I am sad to admit that I am embarassed to be a flames fan. our team is playing completely brutal. Iginla, bouwmeester, and giordano are the only players who show up night after night. As much as i liked him, kipper sucks right now. absolutely sucks. hes gotta go no exceptions. We cant win when our goalie cant stop a puck.

Dude Kipper has played poorly the last 3 games. the rest of the time, he is stellar. You want to get rid of him because of a few bad games? Where is your loyalty as a fan?

Did i say i was a leafs fan? no read it again clowns. holy. you think kipper is stellar? i dont know if you have seen the games this year but i have... goals have not been very good. Karlsson will give us much better success now and in the future. if you see the games, you will notice he has a lot of passion. the fist pumps during the shootout are a really good sign.
and if you acuse me for being upset, too bad... were 14th in the conference. someones gotta critize what is going wro...
