he looked good! Would like to see more aggressiveness though

As much as that describes a Sutter player, there are guys that have skills and need to use the skills first.

He can grow into the power forward, but he abdicates to Lindy and Toffee.

This was one of his best games so far.

Based on the game, a few thoughts.

Ruzicka is making a case to stay in the lineup, even once Huberdeau is back. He is also showing chemistry with Lindholm and Toffoli.

Mangiapane, Kadri, Dube is a good line, but Mangiapane just isn’t clicking as he should. Huberdeau also have a rough start. Mangiapane did better last season on a line with Backlund.

Lewis scored a nice goal last night, but is better suited on 4th line.

What about a lineup, once Huberdeau is back, of

Ruzicka, Lindholm, Toffoli

Huberdeau, Kadri, Dube

Mangiapane, Backlund, Coleman

Lucic, Rooney/Lewis, Ritchie

Huberdeau had success with Bennett last year who plays similar to Dube, and Kadri adds skill and grit in front of the net.

Just a thought.

I believe that Mange has been playing with Backlund a lot recently and Dube with Kadri and Coleman.

For one thing, Backlund and Coleman should not have been touched.

For another, Lewis does not belong in the middle 6.

He was on the PK when he scored, which is where he plays his best.

Or on the forecheck, disrupting.

By the looks of your lines, I think you nailed it.

The PP was bad last night.

Lucic on the 2nd unit.

Kadri on the wall.

Ruzicka was decent but we didn't have the setup right.

It is nice that we finally won one. However It is only one game and we have a lot of work to do to get back into contention.

We can do it. We are playing decent hockey and have had some injuries.

A complete 180 for Vegas this year.

Few injuries and so far in front it's not funny.

Caught the 3rd and it was probably the most sound period I’ve seen all year. Really too space away from the Jets and didn’t play with some of the panic they’ve had earlier.

that’s what I hope they can build on.

Most of the game was exactly like that.

Strong start.

A bit of poor play due to 4th line getting caught out too long.

Excellent PK, especially the 5v3.

We seem to injure an opposing player per game.

And that save! That was so much fun to see. I was so convinced that the Flames were gonna give the puck away and get scored on about 20 seconds later (cuz that’s been the way lately), was happy to see the W as the final result.
