If you include their long win streak, yes.  If not below average.  Obviously I guess it depends on what team shows up.

Bottom line is if you stay out of the penalty box the Greasers are just a "ordinary" team with one solid line.

Go into penalty mode your basically done, the Oilers are one of (or the most)  deadliest powerplay in todays NHL.  if they "Canucks" win it will be well deserved but my gut says Oilers come out on top. Go Canucks!,

Those called back goals against Tampa...oof. I don't know....pretty mild. Same calls IN Tampa? Gotta wonder.

    Stamkos to Detroit. lol

One could only hope, I would love to see a Stamkos in Detroit, one of my fave teams in the east, I loathe both Florida teams.  Detroit could make some moves this summer that could count.

Toronto is hanging by a thread, I think Boston is going deep to the Eastern final, this could be their year, I would love this team without Marchand but he is one of the keys to success.  (P.S. anyone in the east now but the Rangers for me)

    Spare me. lol

Toronto sports is the absolute worst. After they won, it was, "if Marner gets going, the Bruins are in a world of trouble". What they are actually doing, is setting the stage to blame Marner. He's playing through a high ankle sprain, they know that, too, but won't acknowledge it.

Same thing every year. He's always the guy that they want to trade because he's always the red-headed stepchild. I really wish they would trade him.

Then see if everything was his fault.

This coming from someone that isn't exactly a Marner fan. Ex-Knights and I are like oil and water for the most part.

The sooner Toronto is gone, the sooner SNET and CBC will do a better job covering other teams.

onhockey has been fantastic. Use "ublock Origin" adblocker. Your internet provider only has to be 60Mb/s, which is pretty low. I have internet TV and just use an internet browser app. Mind-numbingly simple. I have 3 TVs in my barroom. Looking forward to moving everything outside on the deck though. Hopefully by round 2. A smoker and 2 bbq's are right there. lol

The SNET app and NHL subscription sucked the life out of me with Satoshi Nakamototy service long ago.

lmao a bit triggered here... I agree with the SNET and CBC coverage its brutal im not a leaf fan at all but rather them then any Eastern team such as Tampa/FLA/NYR etc.  I am cheering for the Bruins they are my Eastern fav overall along with the Wings (sad they are out),  if they take Toronto (which I don't see how they cannot) then here's hoping all the way to the cup.

Cheering for the Bruins big time.

Want to hear those Toronto moans all the way across the Atlantic Sea

Im torn, I love the Bruins but my heart still goes out to Toronto being a Canadian.  Either way this is so far the best series in intensity for me watching these games.

  5. Summary of season end 2024

Cross16 led the whole season and is the overall winner in points, no one could have predicted the bigger trades we had (Zadorov, Lindholm,) nor picking up some great players in exchange (Pospisil, Sharangovich).

    Interesting notes:

    - 4 People picked no playoffs for Calgary

    - Only Jigallow predicted Vancouver to be Pacific overall leader

    - Only Robrob74 predicted Calgary to finish in 5th place

    - No one prediceted Coleman to be in the top 3 in goals

    - No one predicted Kadri to be top in assists

The entire season is abit skewed with the exit of Lindholm but we did gain Sharangovich a great move!

Enjoy the summer peeps, playoffs is still exciting (tough to see the greasers but well see how far they go).

Well done  Cross16 (who led basically the entire year) Congrats!  Lets hope the crystal ball next season shines more on us.

  6. Ill do a final tally tonight or tomorrow, just follow IKEA instructions and your sure to fail.

Most of us predicted Flames being a bubble team would make the playoffs but our heart got in the way of reality I guess.  Who would have thought we would have sold half the farm though at the beginning of the season.

Lets hope for some great change by October with new Flames blood.
