No calls, no push back, and no lead makes Cowtownguy go something, something.

The zebras have missed a few blatant cross checks to us, but we seem to get called every time.
Like the hit Chucky took.

I'm not worried yet about next season signings.
Hertyl is going to be more expensive than Mony.
I like the player but we have to be certain we are re-signing him.
Besides, this is the new Monahan.
Bigger, stronger, faster....
LOL
I think he gets him game back.
A lot of people are complaining about his performance, but I think that is unfair given the injuries he sustained. I think he turns it around this year.

Johnny. How you miss that one!?

You have to wonder about the players that knew…how much blame do they share and do they deserve reprimand? Wow what a mess
That is a very good question, and it applies to many others. Whistle blowers tend to experience difficulties finding employment after they come clean with something because companies worry that they are trouble makers. If you bury a criminal matter, as these guys have done, then you are punished for a cover up. You cannot win. The corporation is designed in such a way as to incentivize coverups. What level of culpability should be assigned to people who did not actually DO anything wrong, but failed to report the matter? For example, should Q be forced to resign? Should Chevy? Those who made decisions in this matter such as giving dude the letter of reference and shipping the guy elsewhere should face the music. But, I am not sure exactly sure what sanction should be handed to the others. I would actually lean on the side of being lenient in order to increase the likelihood of more reporting in the future. If there was no structural penalty to these people, I suspect that they would have been more than happy to report the matter.

Ask STL?
He's making league minimum + EDM pay.
Neal has 1 goal and not playing every game
You mean Edmonton is paying Neal to play in STL and paying Lucic to play in Calgary!? Weird that.
-
Looch has looked pretty good so far. How is Neal doing up in Edmonton btw?

this team iis play alot more though as a team together not trying to leave it all on one person
And that creates great chemistry which is essential.

That is two significant screw ups by Gudbranson. He has to play with more intelligence.

duncan keith denies knowing anything.. others say everyone knew
Given everything that has been said, I think it is obvious that more people knew a lot more about what happened than what they are saying. This is an absolute disaster. Peters was fired for using inappropriate, racist language. The behaviour of the hawks has lead to serious physical and psychological harm. What a shame. There were so many players I thought highly of on that team.

It is still early, but I have to hand it to Sutter, he has them playing very well. I did not anticipate this much of a coach bump. He is the best coach we have had since ... '03-'06 Daryl Sutter.

Get that sniper Mangiapane out there.
Hatty time......
I wonder how many minutes he has played tonight? He always seems to be out there.

Sutter has done a heckuva job with these guys even with a brutal schedule.

Wasn’t a very clean game. Turnovers were an issue, PP doesn’t look very good and they really struggled getting the puck out of the zone. Not a great game all around.
On the positive side, if you play with effort above avg defense and good goaltending you can win games and shutout teams even if other parts of your game are still coming around. That isn’t something that has been common for the team in recent years.
I think almost every aspect of the game needs work given how early it is in the season.
Markstrom looked much calmer and confident.
I don't understand how Chucky can swat a moving puck 15' in the air with a small stick, but also go off-side so often. I wonder if his skating needs attention because one would assume it is not his timing.

No masks required in the USA.
Those goalies are a bunch of sheeples!!! Goalie masks are not effective at eliminating injuries. That is a TRUTH!

Eeks 12-2 in shots. Flames better results with less shots.
Yeah, we are really getting beat up in shots in the second. We need to amp up.

We need a sniper. If only there was a Jack Eichel available.

That hurts.

I am still impressed by Tkachuk's ability to snag the puck on the bench. There is a kid in the stands who looked pretty amazed too if you look at the replay.

Dude drinking the beer behind Francis is more interesting than Francis. LOL

but it’s over the bench no?umm, shouldn’t Markstrom have had that one?
need him to get into season form. Maybe he didn’t play enough in preseason.
Watch the commentators suggest a two game suspension.

Guess you can’t play the puck when it’s already out?
Gotta admit that I don't think I have ever seen that before.

Kylington had a few lapses of judgement as well.
